July Roundup

So where did 7 months of 2014 go huh? It's insane to think 2014 is nearly over! It's been a good month for me in terms of relaxing and getting much needed rest after my A-Levels. I hit 100 followers on Bloglovin! Thank you all for your comments and kind words on my posts, it really makes my day.

This month was a beauty filled month where I reviewed a few of my new cult faves in my makeup stash. Revlon Matte Balm in Sultry is my new go-to lip colour it's so beautiful! Continuing with the makeup theme I updated you guys on how my makeup collection is getting on ( click here to see the post). Being a total beginner I'm now pretty happy with the bulk of my stash and it fits pretty nicely in my vanity, although it is a big draw...

Moving on to more fashion-y territory I gave my views on the perfect clutch bag essentials for a light change and a Summer detox of the ole heavy totes us gals are typically seen carrying around. Saying that I must admit I've been following the bag detox this month and my shoulders are now eternally greatful.

On the lifestyle front of things I baked a totally weird but yummy cake that went down a treat with my family ( and neighbour... ) If you think it looks totally gross don't be fooled click here to view the recipe and have a wee go at it yourself!

And last but not least my Lazy Sundays posts have been the longest series running on my blog and I'm yet to get bored of it. It has been running for around 15 posts now and it's crazy to think I started them earlier on this year. Last weeks LS was one where I featured a firm new fave of mine in the Blogging world WishWishWish, her instagram is eyewatering and her blog is amazing too, you should definitely check her out if you don't know her already.

So that was July's roundup and Summer is now fully in swing. I have a few trips and plans for the summer to enjoy the most of the six sizzling weeks of relaxation before gruelling university begins, so if there are a few gaps between posts I apologise in advance as I'll probably be enjoying what freedom I have left. What are your plans for Summer?

  1. OMG can't believe it's august either! Feels like Summer is almost over :(

I've also been loving the Rimmel Balms - so easy to wear!
