Chilli Hummus Recipe

So I was in the mood for some blended chick pea goodness, I piled up ingredients into my bullet blended and thought it was too delicious not to share.


  • 1 tbsp of olive oil 
  • 2 chillis ( if you're not a huge spice love then skip this step )
  • 1 big clove of garlic or 2 small ones
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp of paprika
  • 1/2 tsp of cumin
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp of tahini
  • 1 can of chickpeas
  • 1 tbsp of water to blend
Emulsify everything in a blender until smooth and you should be left with a chunky yet peanut butter like consistency. Spread onto pita bread or dip carrot sticks into it for a nice dip and enjoy!
