Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick In Dreamy

Rimmel seem to be on it with their lipstick offerings becasue I only seem to hear good reviews all around. I thought picking up a moisture renew will put an end to the dry lip problem I get and boy was I right!

On first look it is quite bold in its metalic packaging, but I like that about it. My other lipsticks are either black or white in packaging so when I see purple shine in the midst of my makeup bag I know what it is and can grab straight away. 

The formula as the name suggests is very moisturising, I can't stop rubbing my lips together after application! It feels like a light balm almost ( I'm bad at descriptions! ) The colour itself (called 'Dreamy') is a typical 'my lips but better' shade. So much so that when I put it on it kind of looks like I've just got a gloss over my natural lips, I'm still questioning how I feel about that. But me aside, the colour is really pretty, almost like my CK lipstick, so it's as if I have a thing for pale browny- pinks. 

I like the fact that you have the glossy shimmer to it, rather than the hard-to-manage matte textures most new lipsticks are offering. It adds the right amount of sheen without looking like you've massaged a tube of lipgloss on, personally I hate the look of too much gloss on me because I have such big yet small lips, if you get what I mean.
