Inspired by the looks featured in this seasons catwalk show for Burberry's S/S 15 I had to give my own go at achieving that subtle glowy bronze look on my lids.
As a minimal makeup wearer I was in love with how Burberry promoted the 'au-natural' look with the likes of just a matte bronzer on the lids. So here's how I would recreate the look.
The main feature of this look is the 'bare-eyes' glow. I like the idea of using the bronzer as an eyeliner as it gives that right amount of bronzy glow whilst defining the eyes subtly. Whilst modelling this look on myself I was in love with how on first glimpse it appears that you have nothing on the lids but on second glance you see how the light beautifully captures the bronzy elements. Black liquid eyeliner is going to stay in the drawers for this look but anyone facing withdrawal symptoms can possibly use the thinnest flicks in the outer corners for definition. Lashings of mascara are obligatory for this one so you won't feel like your eyes are looking totally alien!
Finish the look off with a cream blush and a brown-toned nude pink so the whole look flows without the addition of any harsh boldness or shimmer.
This look has definitely become a new favourite of mine. The use of shadow on the eyes as a liner cuts out the fear of a wonky flick or uneven eye because you just blend the shadow out naturally. Perfect for those in a rush for sure!
Ooh what a beautiful product - love the look, I think i'll be investing in one of these!
